Hello Atlantica Vox fans,
So, ten years ago, on August 11, 2008, the first Atlantica Vox full-length CD, The Phantom Town Demos, was released on CD Baby. Although those were the first songs that I had released publicly, they weren't the first songs that I had written and recorded. Between 1991 and 2003, I wrote more than a hundred songs, and recorded around fifty of those. These were generally lo-fi recordings done by myself in my low-budget home studio, and at the time, I just gave out the recordings to a few friends and family.
I recently went back to listen to some of them (some of which I hadn't heard for more than ten years,) and thought that as rough as they were, there were some good tunes in there. I had upgraded my home recording setup a few times over the years, and as a result I lost all the raw instrument tracks for all these songs, so I couldn't remix them even if I wanted to. But I do still have all the completed songs, and I took one album that I had done around 2003 and touched the songs up a bit, running them through some mastering software and tweaking the EQ here and there.
As I was coming up on the ten-year anniversary of the first Atlantica Vox release, I thought it would be nice to offer something to the folks that have supported me over the years. So, I'm putting this digital release up for free at Bandcamp for a while:

If you click "Buy Digital Album," just put in $0.00 for the price, and it's yours! I hope you enjoy those tracks as sort of history of Atlantica Vox, and as always, thanks for listening!
