About Atlantica Vox
Atlantica Vox is the solo project of Kyle Fiske, a recording artist based in Rockport, Massachusetts. The
music could be described as "New Wave Americana"; it's in the vein of late '70's, early '80s postpunk and
new wave music. Influences would include Echo and the Bunnymen, The Cure, The Smiths, U2, Siouxsie
and the Banshees, Wall of Voodoo/Stan Ridgway, Big Country, X, The Jam, Bob Dylan, The Clash, Joy
Division/New Order, The Alarm, Bruce Springsteen and Simple Minds, among others. Various other
influences would include Sergio Leone/Ennio Morricone, The Outer Limits, Edgar Allen Poe, C.S. Lewis,
John Ford, the Shaw Brothers and Hammer Films. The songs often reference settings of the Northeastern
US, and more specifically, the maritime flavor of the New England coast, and they (attempt to) espouse a
Christian world view.
At this time, Atlantica Vox is a recording project only, and there are currently no plans for live performances.

"The Phantom Town Demos"
This is a collection of 12 songs I wrote and recorded from 2005-2007. The CD was completed and released
in July of 2008. I refer to it as "demos", as it's essentially a lo-fi recording I did myself on quite a limited
budget. In a general postpunk, guitar-based style, the songs range from film-noir stories of flawed
characters, to off-kilter tales of love and loss, some hints of ghosts and strange goings-on, and the
determined quest for some kind of American dream.
